OA59793: 0C4 ABEND IN IMS MPR REGION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• an 0C4 occurs in module AGMYIO which causes the IMS
  message processing region to abend
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• AGMYIO collects information on database calls and stores this
  information in 64 bit storage. Some of the registers that were
  being used in 64 bit addressing mode had not been properly
  initialized and had erroneous data in the high half of the
  register due to certain system settings.
  

Problem conclusion

• The registers that had been improperly initialized have had
  their high halves cleared before using them to map storage in
  64bit addressing mode.
  
  This APAR also addresses a potential problem with running
  fast path transactions which use databases other than DEDB/MSDB
  in an environment with zapm installed. This scenario is
  currently unsupported.
