When scheduling a monthly report When the next date falls in a new year, it sets the month to January. Caused by changes under WEEKLY REPORT SCHEDULES DO NOT CORRECTLY GENERATE A SCHEDULE (144154). See DateSelectorUtil line 542. When the next date falls in a new year, it sets the month to January. To duplicate, schedule a recurring report for every 2 months or 6 months. The first schedule in the preview will be 2 or 6 months (or more) from today. That might Dec 1. The next schedule will be Jan 1 of the next year. REPORTED VERSION: Maximo Asset Management 7.6.0.9
Local fix
If your goal is a 6 month recurring report in January & July, this will work, but otherwise, no real workaround.
