Error description

  • In a multi-homed environment a re-INVITE request might be sent
from a wrong interface. The problem occurs when caller and
callee use different transports.

Local fix

  • set Custom Property enable.set.outbound.interface = true

In a multi-homed environment a re-INVITE request might be sent
from a wrong interface. The problem occurs when caller and
callee use different transports and a re-INVITE request is
retransmitted.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix was made in the SIP Container so the outbound interface is
used for re-INVITE retransmissions.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.18 and 9.0.5.5. For more information, see 'Recommended
