Troubleshooting
Problem
Planning Analytics databases display "Cannot display resource information" and the agent shows up as "unreachable" post upgrade to Workspace 52 from an older version.
Symptom
- The agent shows up as "unreachable" and version shows up as "N/A" despite the agent version getting upgraded without any issues.
- The bootstrap.properties file (<PA_install_location>/paa_agent/wlp/usr/servers/kate-agent) correctly reflects the version details
- tm1messages.log (<PA_install_location>\paa_agent\wlp\usr\servers\kate-agent\logs\messages.log) contains E Exception error message (refer example below)

Resolving The Problem
The issue is caused due to a known defect introduced with PAA agent version 52(2.0.52.1270) expected to be fixed with future releases of PAA Agent.
Please follow steps listed below in order to workaround the issue.
- Stop Planning Analytics Administration Agent service
- Delete cached folders (.logs and .classCache) in <PA_install_location>\paa_agent\wlp\usr\servers
- Delete Workarea folder in <PA_install_location>\paa_agent\wlp\usr\servers\kate-agent
- Start Planning Analytics Administration Agent service
- Navigate to the Planning Analytics Administration portal and verify the status of Planning Analytics databases
