IT33024: INVALID ADMIN USERNAME RESULTS IN PASSWORD CHANGE

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During a new deployment of IBM Spectrum Protect Plus, the
  product will request to set a new username and password for the
  admin account.   An invalid username will result in a error
  dialog but the password entered is accepted and set unbeknownst
  to the user.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has been fixed to address the issue.
  When an invalid username is entered, both the username and
  password are rejected.
