Error description
There is a chance of leaking a small amount of memory (associated to the internal sql_da structure) when using DESCRIBE to get information about fields in a SQL statement. The leak will only appear if you use the same prepared statement for both DESCRIBE and DECLARE statements like: sqlcmd = "SELECT * FROM tab1 WHERE pkey = ? AND name = ?"; EXEC SQL PREPARE :stmt1 FROM :sqlcmd; EXEC SQL DESCRIBE INPUT :stmt1 INTO sqlda_input; EXEC SQL DECLARE :stmt2 CURSOR FOR :stmt1; and you free the first statement ('stmt1') first.
