Can "Last Modified" date in IBM Planning Analytics Administration be used for auditing user sign on?

Question & Answer

Question

Can the "Last Modified" date that is displayed for Users in IBM Planning Analytics Administration (PAA) be used to audit user sign on?

Answer

The "Last Modified" date in PAA should not be used for auditing user access/sign on. Anytime the user record is touched, this date will change. This may be from a user sign on but can also be from a Subscription and Subscription Management (SSM) database update/synchronization. A SSM update such as a new subscription or synchronization of an existing synchronization will affect the modified date of users under that subscription.
