    ****************************************************************
01.An internal exception can occur when querying the encoding
       of a USS file
    02.When enable_ssl=false is specified in ssl.properties,
FEKLOGS ends with RC8 and message

** ERROR ** server_keystore_type has an invalid value
03.TLS1.3 requires mandatory 4 char cipher specifications and
supports only a certain set of cipher suites. It also
requires additional environment variables to be set
properly. Daemon client has not yet to support TLS1.3 by
       using current level of java
04.enhancement to automatically set defaulted variables when
       TLSv1.3 is selected
05.RC0004 is caught when feklogs is checking ISPF gateway
configuration due to feklogs script typo
06.During the serialization of the xml message in internal
communication, the server handler is using a StringBuffer
with a default capacity and expanded per message size as
needed. The expanded capacity has not been released.
07.The storage access RSE attempts to access for user data
       might be inaccessible.
08.In the creation of a new connection, RSE retrieval user
profile information extracts only 8 characters from the
default value retrieved for the TSO account number.

Problem conclusion

  • 01.Added a guard against a potential null pointer.
02.FEKLOGS updated to do correct test
03.Undefault TLS1.3 in RSE; add additional environment variable
handling when TLS1.3 is specified; changed IVP code to fully
       rely on env var setup
    04.enhancement provided
    05.Fixed the script issue.
06.When sending a new message, besides clearing out the contend
of the buffer space, the server handler should also shrink
the capacity (to default size) when it is over the default
       capacity.
07.RSE's existing mechanism to detect the existing of user data
region is improper. Adding checking length of the user data
before attempting to retrieving user data.
08.The maximum allowed is 39 characters. Have the extraction
move 39 characters by the expected maximum allowed.
