APAR status

Error description

  • If you try to install a process application by using the
ADMINAPP.INSTALL wsadmin command, you might encounter errors
similar to the following errors in the deployment manager (Dmgr)
 log files, causing the installation to fail:

Local fix

  • Install the application in the IBM WebSphere Application Server
admin console.

Problem summary

  • These errors occur because the command acquires the incorrect
deployment target.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available or will be available that ensures the
ADMINAPP.INSTALL command acquires the correct deployment target
to install applications successfully.
