Error description
The Asynchronous I/O support is enabled with a SAF profile permitting the server's user id. If the liberty server is able to bind to an Angel process then the Asynchronous I/O support is activated. The message activation message is issued when the Asynchronous I/O support is activated: CWWKO0229I: Native Asynchronous I/O support for z/OS has been activated. The Asynchronous I/O support is deactivated, normally during a normal server stop, the following message is issued: CWWKO0230I: Native Asynchronous I/O support for z/OS has been deactivated. It has been observed that if the related SAF profile does not permit the server's user id for ZOSAIO the deactivation message is still issued. This has lead to confusion and determining if the Asynchronous I/O support was activated or not within some target servers.

This has lead to confusion and determining if the Asynchronous I/O support was activated or not within some target servers.
Problem conclusion
Code has been modified to only issue the Asynchronous I/O support deactivation message, CWWKO0230I, if the Asynchronous I/O support has been activated (ie. message CWWKO0229I has been issued). The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 20.0.0.6.
