PI39312: EXCEPTION IN IGZEINP OFFSET X'A94'

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Exception occurs when mixing Enterprise COBOL V5 programs with
  Enterprise COBOL programs compiled with versions prior to V5.
  Problem occurs when executing an ACCEPT verb. Failing
  instruction is OI (9610 8011) due to an invalid address in gpr8.
  

Local fix

• Problem does not occur when all programs are compiled with
  Enterprise COBOL V4.

  The routine that handle End-of-data in pre V5 COBOL Runtime for
  ACCEPT form SYSIN is not getting the expected control block when
  it receive control.
  

Problem conclusion

• Apply provided service.
  
  The routine that handle End-of-data when ACCEPT form SYSIN is
  improved to handle the mixed (v5 and pre V5) scenario.
