Error description

• Exception occurs on SRST instruction while executing an INSPECT
  REPLACING statement.  The SRST (Search string) instruction is
  extending past the end of a page boundary.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The INSPECT processing may ABEND 0C4    *
  *                      if the data item being inspected        *
  *                      happen to be located in memory right    *
  *                      before a page boundary and the next     *
  *                      address is inaccessible.  This is       *
  *                      unlikely to happen for data item        *
  *                      defined in WORKING-STORAGE or LOCAL     *
  *                      STORAGE.  The reported case occurs in   *
  *                      a record read from QSAM I/O.            *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *

  INSPECT processing attempts to inspect an extra character at
  the end of the data item. This additional access would not
  affect INSPECT result but would cause an ABEND 0C4.
