Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of Enterprise COBOL V6.3 and later     *
  *                 releases compiling with TEST, TEST(DWARF),   *
  *                 or NOTEST(DWARF) option and running AMODE    *
  *                 64 programs which generate a CEEDUMP.        *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The CEEDUMP generation is incomplete    *
  *                      and CEE3204S error condition is issued  *
  *                      with the message 'CEE3204S WHILE        *
  *                      RUNNING PROGRAM CELQV004'.              *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
  ****************************************************************
  During CEEDUMP generation, the COBOL Runtime accesses invalid
  storages by mistake when processing DWARF information, leading
  to the error condition "CEE3204S THE SYSTEM DETECTED A
  PROTECTION EXCEPTION".
  
  The exception does not occur if the COBOL program is not
  containing DWARF information. This can be achieved by compiling
  the program with NOTEST, TEST(NODWARF),or NOTEST(NODWARF).

Problem conclusion

• The CEEDUMP generation in COBOL Runtime has been corrected.
  Also, this requires the COBOL program to be re-compiled with
  the COBOL compiler APAR PH22114 installed.
  
  If this APAR is installed and the program is not re-compiled,
  the problem would still occur.
