  In prior releases, if debug information is separate from the
  program module, the information can be suppressed by making
  SYSDEBUG dataset unavailable when the program is run. This
  cannot be done for Enterprise COBOL V5+ as DWARF information is
  embedded within the program object and cannot be separated. If
  DWARF information is available, it will always be used when
  printing CEEDUMP.

Problem conclusion

• A COBOL runtime option module is provided to suppress DWARF
  information processing. COBOL V5+ CEEDUMP processing will check
  for this module in STEPLIB DD. If it exists, CEEDUMP processing
  will be suppressed. The name of this option module is IGZUOPT.
  Use the sample JCL IGZ1OPT provided in LE PDS .SCEESAMP to
  create this module, and then put it into a dataset in STEPLIB
  DD. Refer to the technote for further information about this
  option module. The technote is in: ++HOLD INFORMATION: For
  CICS, add the module name IGZUOPT to the CSD. Refer to technote
  for details about IGZUOPT.
