Error description

  • Developer Portal Try It API test tool doesn't support +
character in the OAuth password field.

For the APIs with OAuth
security definition, if user enter a password that contain +
character and click "Get Token", when APIC gateway receive the
request the + character become a space.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • If the password being used as part of oAuth on an api contained
a special character this was not passed correctly in the
Developer Portal Try It tab

Problem conclusion

  • Special characters are now dealt with correctly when using a
password on an API secured by oAuth in the Developer Portal Try
It tab.
