Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Liberty Profile * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Resource references must match based on * * type rather than name only * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Indirect lookups for resource references should locate the target resource based on the name only, but the algorithm was also matching based on type. If the resource reference type was incorrect or the target resource was not registered in the service registry with all the types it supports, then the indirect lookup fails.
Problem conclusion
Indirect lookups for resource references has been changed to match based on name only. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.4 Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
