PH24834: DFHSI1578D DURING CICS STARTUP

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Running CICS TS 5.5, when the PLT source location is specifies
  into the CICS JCL by DD statement
  //DFHTABLE DD DSN=pds name,DISP=SHR
  
  and the word COPY is in the comment of PLT source.
  
  The error message DFHSI1578D occurred.
  DFHSI1578D xxxx PLTPI specified cannot be found.
  Reply GO or CANCEL.
  

Local fix

• Editing the PLT source changing the word COPY in the comment to
  others.

  The source of the PLT included the word COPY as a comment. This
  was mistakenly processed as a COPY directive resulting in an
  attempt to read a non-existent PARMLIB member. The read failed
  and the CICS start was halted awaiting a reply to message
  DFHSI1578D.

Problem conclusion

• DFHAPTB is changed to ignore the word COPY when it has been
  included as text in a comment.
