Will JazzSM product be still supported if these sample applications is stop or uninstall?

Summary

To comply with IBM security standard for WebSphere Application Server, you are considering to stop the following sample applications from JazzSM:
- DefaultApplication
- ivtApp
- query

Objective

1) Do you still get product support even after stopping the sample applications such as Default Application, ivtApp and query?

2) How to stop these sample application via WebSphere console page?

Steps

1) Yes, the JazzSM will still worked and be supported if these sample applications are stopped but not the isc application that is required.

2) You can stop these applications using these steps:-

a)Login to DASH

b) Go to console settings- and launch WebSphere Administrative Console-

c) From there click Applications--> Application Types-->WebSphere enterprise applications

d) Check the box of the application that you want to stop.

e) If the Application status is in red that means it is stop and if in green, you can stop using the stop box.

f) There is no need to restart the JazzSM server for this action to be performed.
