Error description

  • After applying UI67006(PH16992),when you run a CSD update job
    to upgrade the DFH$ULPA group, it fails with CC=08.
    
    The input of this job comes from SDFHSAMP(DFH$ULPA).
    The joblog shows the failure messages below.

    WITH 'DFH' ARE RESERVED
    AND MAY BE REDEFINED BY CICS.

    E COMMAND NOT EXECUTED. DFHWEB IS IBM-PROTECTED.

    BECAUSE OF

    The message points to the group name DFHWEB.
    DEFINE PROGRAM(DFHWBOPT) GROUP(DFHWEB)
    
    This is an error with the OPTIONS APAR PH16992.

    With PH16992 applied, When using DFHCSDUP to upgrade a CSD using
    member DFH$ULPA condition code 8 is received. The messages
    state that the define for program DFHWBOPT failed because DFHWEB
    is a protected group.
    This message is caused by a change made to DFH$ULPA by PH16992
    with this APAR applied, DFH$ULPA contains an incorrect group
    name in the definition for program DFHWBOPT.
