Error description

  • User tasks in a process that have an external implementation
might not run in IBM Process Portal.

Even if the task is defined in Team lane for All Users, clicking
the pending task for a started process instance will lead to the
following authorization error:

"This is a system task, which you are not authorized to run."

  • Set the
com.ibm.bpm.portal.enableSystemTaskLaunchByPortal Mashup Config
property to 'true' so that users can launch system tasks, which
they usually would not have access to.
