Abstract
Extended indicator support exists for Embedded SQL programmers, allowing the programmer to achieve amazing levels of reuse.
By leveraging extended indicators, the programmer has fewer SQL statements to maintain, because each statement can be made to do different things.
With this enhancement, the SQL PL (SQL Procedures, Functions, and Triggers) programmer can utilize the same advanced programming capability through extended indicators.
