Logstash directory under LogAnalysis directory went missing when I uninstall remote solr.

Question

I had Logstash directory under <LA_HOME>/LogAnalysis directory, and remote Solr was installed under LogAnalysis directory too. When I uninstalled remote Solr, the Logstash directory was removed too, can I recover my Logstash directory?

Cause

When you uninstall remote Solr, all the sub-directories under <LA_HOME>LogAnalysis directory will be remove, including Logstash directory if it is installed under LogAnalysis directory.

Answer

No, you can't recover your Logstash directory. You need to reinstall Logstash again. If you need to reinstall Logstsah in the same directory, you need to first clean your remote_install_tool registry first. Refer to:
