APAR status

Error description

  • If one user is working on a case solution in Case Builder (such
as, editing a view or a page) and then someone else logs on to
Content Navigator and starts interacting with cases, the locked
objects related to the Case Builder edits in the design object
store are changed from the Case Builder user to the Content
Navigator user. As a result, the Case Builder user is prevented
from saving the changes he or she made in Case Builder because
the object is now locked by the Content Navigator user.

Content Navigator.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available or will be available that ensures the user
working in Case Builder can save changes even when two or more
users are using both Case Builder and Content Navigator. This
fix requires the fix for Content Navigator to be IO27717 is
installed.
