Local fix

  • Alter the queue manager PSMODE attribute from COMPAT to ENABLED.

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users of the IBM MQ resource monitoring feature on a queue
manager where PSMODE is set to COMPAT may be affected by this
    problem.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A shared memory set that is needed by the monitoring feature was
not created unless the PSMODE parameter was set to ENABLED.
This shared memory set should be created whether PSMODE is
configured to be either ENABLED or COMPAT.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been changed so that the required shared memory set
is created if PSMODE is set to ENABLED or COMPAT.
