The following BRMS PTF's moved the Flight Recorders from /tmp/brms to /QIBM/UserData/BRMS/logs:
- 7.2 - SI71973
- 7.3 - SI71974
- 7.4 - SI71975
To accommodate the change install a toolkit with a build date later than March 27th 2020. That code will detect where the BRMS logs and retrieve them from the correct location.
An alternate workaround is to create a symbolic to the original location of the BRMS directory with the commands.
On the source LPAR, if /tmp/brms still exists it is ok to delete the /brms directory if the above mentioned PTFs have been applied.
On the source LPAR issue the following command:
ADDLNK OBJ('/QIBM/UserData/BRMS/logs') NEWLNK('/tmp/brms')
This only needs to be done once, and is valid for all versions of the toolkit (including 7.70).
