Question
When I was trying to create a new Resource Access Document (RAD), I received this "Creating new Resource Access xxx Failed".
How do I fix that?
Answer
For such error, you want to check 2 log files:
(a) JazzSM logs (<JazzSM-Dir>/profile/logs)
(b) worker.log (preferably in DEBUG log level)
If you see errors similar to the following:
[3/17/20 12:12:25:608 GMT+00:00] 00000482 MetadataLocat E com.intelliden.drivers.MetadataLocatorImpl <init> Metadata dir /opt/IBM/tivoli/netcool/ncm/drivers/metadata/Metadata-964313d5-70ae-4407-94b3-929ec94668df/ used by driver IBM-d074abe7-ca2d-40e8-83c4-18d502cf237f does not exist!

at com.intelliden.icos.util.ResourceAccessData.buildDocument(ResourceAccessData.java:257)
at com.intelliden.icos.util.ResourceAccessData.getRollbackOptions(ResourceAccessData.java:160)
at com.intelliden.icos.kernel.ido.data.ResourceAccDoc.validate(ResourceAccDoc.java:331)
at com.intelliden.icos.kernel.ido.data.ResourceAccDoc.validate(ResourceAccDoc.java:234)
then you need to sync the "drivers" directory of all worker servers.

If the problem is not fixed, please raise a case with IBM Support and provide:
(a) Screenshot of the error
(b) JazzSM logs (<JazzSM-Dir>/profile/logs)
(c) worker.log (preferably in DEBUG log level)
