Abstract

This document lists the problems that have been fixed in InfoSphere Optim Query Workload Tuner, Version 4.1.1 and in the unlicensed tuning features in the IBM Data Studio client, version 4.1.1.

Tuning a query workload in which the referenced tables were partitioned into many partitions could cause the product to return an OutOfMemory exception and crash.

When tuning single SQL statements that run on DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows that is running on an AIX 64-bit system, the DB2 JDBC driver could return an error with the error code -4472.

Data Studio client running unlicensed tuning features
The Workload Analytics Acceleration Advisor considered static SQL statements as ineligible for offloading if those statements contained unqualified table references and were bound with a default qualifier.

The Workload Statistics Advisor returned a NullPointerException when processing an index for which the value in the IX_EXTENSION_TYPE column in the SYSIBM.SYSINDEXES table was T for "Spatial".

Manually setting the STATSTIME column in the SYSIBM.SYSTABLES and SYSIBM.SYSCOLUMNS tables to 9999-12-31-24.00.00.00000 no longer causes an error. This timestamp is automatically converted to 9999-12-31-23.59.59.999999 by the product.
