Abstract
This document describes late-breaking issues for IBM® Cognos® TM1® 10.2.2 Fix Pack 6 (10.2.2.6).
Content
As of TM1 10.2.2 Fix Pack 6, all SSL-secured communication between client and server uses Transport Layer Security 1.2. If older TM1 clients (prior to TM1 10.2.2 FP6) need to connect to either the TM1 Admin Server or TM1 Server, you must enable such access in Tm1s.cfg (for TM1 Server) and Cognos Configuration ( for TM1 Admin Server).
This is also applicable if TM1 is used as a data source for Business Intelligence on Unix. For details, see http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27048181
Transport Layer Security must be configured properly to connect IBM Cognos Analysis for Microsoft Excel® (CAFE) Fix Pack 5 (10.2.2.5) to PM Hub and TM1 Fix Pack 6 (10.2.2.6) servers. For details, see http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21984371
While using TM1 10.2.2 FP6 as a data source, Cognos Insight and Cognos Business Intelligence users opening a published workspace on a Unix server may encounter a "SystemServerConnectionFailed" error message. For details, see http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21986940
An error can occur when clicking "Open in Report Studio" button in IBM Cognos Analysis for Microsoft Excel. For details, see http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21984315
Because of the upgrade to TLS 1.2, IBM Cognos Analysis for Microsoft Excel users need to update their Microsoft .NET Framework to version 4.5 or later. TLS 1.2 is not compatible with Microsoft .NET Frameworks prior to version 4.5.
