Problem
You are presented with a prohibited icon ? when you attempt to add a child of an OLAP hierarchy onto a field of a crosstab if another child from the same hierarchy is already present in another crosstab field.
Symptom
Test Case
- In IBM Cognos Analytics create a Crosstab and use an OLAP source (for example Go Sales Analysis)
- Add the level "Years" from the "Time" hierarchy to the Columns field.
- Add level "Years" or any other level from the "Time" hierarchy to Rows field.
You cannot add another level from the hierarchy called "Time" to the Rows field because the level called "Years" from the same hierarchy is already present in the Columns field.
