IBM Spectrum Protect for Mail 7.1.6 contains the following components:

• Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server 7.1.6
• Data Protection for IBM Domino 7.1.0

Customers who already use a component at the 7.1.0.x, 7.1.1.x ,7.1.2.x, 7.1.3x or 7.1.4x level can download 7.1.6 from either of the following sources:

• the FTP website used to deliver maintenance packages
• the Passport Advantage Online website

Tip: Customers who do not already use a component at the 7.1.0.x, 7.1.1.x, 7.1.2.x, or 7.1.3.x level must obtain a base image, with license enablement file, from the the Passport Advantage Online website.

Maintenance Packages via the FTP Website for Maintenance
(Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange)

The Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server maintenance package can be accessed using the FTP website for maintenance deliveries.

However, the maintenance update package requires an existing 7.1.x installation on the machine before applying it because the maintenance update package does not contain the license enablement file required for use of the component. If this is your initial installation of Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server on a host, you must obtain your package, with the associated license enablement file, from the Passport Advantage Online website.

The maintenance update package, without license enablement file, can be obtained from the following locations:

ftp://public.dhe.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/maintenance/tivoli-data-protection/ntexch

Data Protection for Domino
This component was not updated to the 7.1.6 level.
