Prerequisites
Install these PTFs on top of IBM WebSphere MQ V6.0 for iSeries
It is recommended that all iSeries systems stay current with the latest operating system PTFs. Details of the latest iSeries cumulative PTF packages can be found at the following Web site:
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/recommendedfixes
Note that this fix pack will be excluded from iSeries cumulative PTF packages, and must therefore be installed separately.
Installation Instructions
The PTFs which provide the fixes for this fix pack should be installed using the standard iSeries PTF process.

Please note:
1. While loading the WebSphere MQ 6.0.2.2 PTF the users need to follow either step (a) or (b) based on their current state.
(a) Users with WebSphere MQ v6.0.2.1 currently applied temporarily will have to end all WebSphere MQ queue managers fully and stop the QMQM subsystem before loading the PTFs for subsequent WebSphere MQ Fix Pack /Refresh Pack on WebSphere MQ v6.
(b) Users with a service level other than v6.0.2.1 will be able to use LODPTF for subsequents levels of WebSphere MQ Fix Pack /Refresh Pack with SPRPTF (*APYPERM).
2. For systems with CCSID 5026, (/QSYS.LIB/JA_JP_5026.LOCALE) the WebSphere MQ Java PTFs will fail to apply. This is because, at the time of PTF application, a PTF exit starts up to create a directory in the WebSphere MQ IFS path and encounters a path name that has lowercase characters(CCSID 5026 does not support lowercase characters).
CCSID 5026 (/QSYS.LIB/JA_JP_5026.LOCALE) is not a supported environment for WebSphere MQ v6. This is documented in WebSphere MQ Infocenter under heading "Installing translated versions" as "To run the Japanese language version of WebSphere MQ for iSeries, the CCSID of the job must be 939 (5035) rather than 930 (5026) because WebSphere MQ uses lowercase English alphabets."
Hence please ensure that the job CCSID is CCSID = 5035, QLOCALE = /QSYS.LIB/JA_5035.LOCALE at the time of applying WebSphere MQ v6.0.2.1 and subsequent PTFs. If PTFs are made to apply at the IPL time, ensure all necessary settings so that the CCSID is not 5026.
Note:
Some of the PTFs exceed the size allowed for downloading immediately from Fix Central. For guidance,
