Installation Instructions
The sna.client fileset will only be found on machines using the Remote API Client for AIX. This fileset will not be found (will not install) on any machine running CS/AIX Server using the sna.rte* filesets. The sna.license fileset is new and is required with the update PTFs on both server and client systems.
Download Package
Minimum requirements for server: sna.rte, sna.rte64, sna.license. Any fileset currently installed should be updated at the same time. If you are updating from level 6.3.0.x, you must download the 6.3.1.0 files in addition to the latest levels and put them all in the same directory. The update process should automatically detect and install them before applying the latest level.
The fix for IV47433 is available to be installed over the 6.3.1.4 PTF. This APAR was reported too late to be included in the PTF, but it is recommended that this fix be installed.
The 6.3 version of the Remote API Client is no longer being updated. You should update to the 6.4 version of the client and the latest maintenance for it. The client link has been redirected to Communications Server for AIX, Version 6.4 -- Latest Fixpack to obtain the 6.4 version. The 6.4 version is fully compatible with the 6.3 server.
An alternative download site for these fixes is Fix Central.
