Error description

  • Interrupted and restarted relocate operation results in hard
directory links in lost+found. The process for removing them is
difficult and non-intuitive.  In some cases requires a special
tool to identify that they exist.

Problem conclusion


    

  • In ClearCase 7.0, a new "-aliases" option has been added to
the 'cleartool describe' command to identify hard links.
