Error description

  • Erroneously generated error msg

ETI097E - A row has either been changed or deleted
by another user and cannot be updated.
     SQL CODE +100

Can occur when the default time format is set to USA (TIME=USA).
This means that ETI will display the time in HH:MM am/pm format,
rather than HH:MM:SS format. This can cause a loss of precision,
    and the above error.

This fix will detect and display an error message when the above
    condition is detected

    OTHER KEYWORDS: +100 ETI1097

Local fix

  • ETI is in a position where it can't edit these rows. Since
TIME=USA is selected, there is data in this time field that
exists, but is not shown on the screen. ETI follows strict rules
of not updating data it can't see.

Here are a couple of workarounds:
    1) set all seconds to zero, if you truly don't
       need this data
    2) change the subsystem away from TIME=USA.
