Question & Answer

Question

Can the DOORSHOME "Home" path for IBM Rational DOORS (DOORS) be located anywhere or do restrictions exist?

The DOORS Client allows for the configuration of a "Home" path (DOORSHOME) in various places (command line switches, registry, DXL Security, etc. ). The user interface does not give indications of requirements, where the "DOORSHOME" may and may not be located. This document provides clarification.

Answer

The DOORS Client "Home" ("DOORSHOME") path needs to be on a local to the DOORS client machine hard drive.
