PI64848: MISLEADING ERROR MESSAGE WHEN ATTEMPTING U.NC IN DB2 V11 CM

Error description

• Attempting to do a REPAIR CATALOG (U.NC) on a tablespace in DB2
  V11 CM results in the error message 'Invalid Line CMD'.  This
  message is misleading, as the error occurs because this
  function is available only in DB2 V11 NFM, and not because U.NC
  is invalid as a line command.

  Explanation:
  This line command requires at least DB2 Version 11
  operating in New Function or higher.
  System action:
  Admin/OC tool shows warning message ADB342W.
  User response:
  Choose DB2 V11 NF or higher version if user still want
  to execute this line command.
