PI58906: PSINDEX RKSIZE IS IGNORED IN CREATING WFP

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• HP Load ignores the RKSIZE option of the DBD LCHILD statement
  for a PSINDEX when creating WFP data sets.  When the RKSIZE
  value is greater than the length of the HALDB root key, the key
  offset of PSINDEX in WFP is incorrect.  This causes a VSAM PUT
  error in the subsequent Index Builder step when using the WFP
  as input:
  IIUB048E xxxxxxxx 1208000C VSAM ERROR WHILE LOADING INDEX -
  REASON=721
  VSAM PUT ERROR

Problem conclusion

• Code has been added to correct this issue.
  
  To resolve the problem, APAR PI58741 for IBM Index Builder for
  z/OS Version 3 Release 1 is also required.
