Problem
Not able to see all Tabs(Status, Security, Library, Index search etc) in Admin Console post installation and configuration without setting any Authentication
Symptom
Resolving The Problem
After default(install without any Authentication provider configured) installation user logs in anonymously and is able to see all the options in Cognos as the group everyone has all the rights.
In this case Cognos Analytics was installed on Linux using the default "Install and Config" when the administration console was launched the user was not able to see all the Tabs in Cognos Administration as shown in the above screen.
One of the cause for this issue is the missing required packages on Operating System.
The resolution to this issue is to identify the missing package and have them installed. Please note the version of the installed package should not be less than what is required.
To give an example assume you have Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Server 6.5 x86-64
You will require to check the dependencies here on the software environment site

nss-3.14.0.0-12.el6 (both i386 and x86_64 packages)
openmotif-2.3.3-5.el6_3 (both i386 and x86_64 packages)
If any one of the packages are missing post installation of the missing package the issue will be resolved and you will be able to see all Tabs in Cognos Administration.
