PI51566: DB2 ADMIN TOOL CHANGE MANAGEMENT UNABLE TO EXECUTE A RECOVER STRATEGY BECAUSE OF DB & SG

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Three completed changes: ChangeA, ChangeB and ChangeC.  Recover
  Strategies were created for all three when they were analyzed.
  ChangeA creates a new tablespace (in a database not used by
  either ChangeB nor ChangeC), a new table with no RI, and
  several indexes on the new table.   ChangeB and ChangeC were
  defined, analyzed and completed after ChangeA was completed.
  When attempting to recover ChangeA, it says cannot recover
  ChangeA without first recovering ChangeB & ChangeC because
  the objects are all use the same storage group.
  
  The solution will be excluding those changes that their DB & SG
  are the same with the requested recover change but DB & SG are
  just related objects (not the changed objects).
