  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When using GEN on a VIEW that contain   *
  *                      the DATE'xxxx-xx-xx' function, for      *
  *                      example:                                *

  *                      CREATE VIEW ...                         *
  *                      DATE '2015-01-01'                       *
  *                      ...                                     *
  *                                                              *
  *                      DB2 Admin will fail with error          *
  *                      message ADB1847E / msgadb1847e:         *
  *                                                              *
  *                      ADB1847E A parser error has             *
  *                      occurred for the following view.        *
  *                      GEN cannot complete the request.        *
  *                      Reason code = 8                         *

  When performing a GEN on a VIEW, DB2 Admin fails with error
  message ADB1847E / msgadb1847e because the parenthesis were
  omitted from the DATE function declaration.
