Troubleshooting
Problem
Users may encounter a 401 error when opening the set editor in IBM Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel. This is the result of the user exceeding the maximum number of client service connections when using the set editor. This issue may be resolved by increasing the maximum number of client service connections by a user to '10'.
Resolving The Problem
- Launch IBM Cognos TM1 Architect.
- Double-click the server you're working in.
- Log into the server.
- Right-click the server > Security > Clients/Groups ...
- Set Max Connections for the user to '10'.
- Click 'OK'.
