IBM Support Addendum for using DB2 10.5 with Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite 9.2.1 and 9.2

As per IBM's published system requirements guide, currently Sterling Selling and Fulfillment Suite (Sterling Order Management and Sterling Configure Price Quote) 9.2.1,9.2 is not supported with DB2 10.5.

We understand that the user community desires to upgrade to a higher version of DB2 for various reasons. As an attempt to support our customers in the best way we can, the IBM SSFS team will support DB2 10.5 with SSFS 9.2.1/9.2 to ensure continued support for a DB2 version with our supported SSFS versions. Please note that this configuration has not been through IBM's Quality Assurance testing.

NOTE: During problem analysis, it may be found that an issue is due to an untested scenario when using DB2 10.5 on SSFS 9.2.1/9.2. In this case, IBM Support will try to find a resolution or work around for your specific problem; however, there may be limitations that are found that cannot be addressed in the current SSFS 9.2.1/9.2 release that may or may have already been address in SSFS 9.5, which is completed certified for DB2 10.5 version support.

It is the customer's responsibility to test their customized solution end-to-end with all system functionality, including a full performance test, before rolling DB2 10.5 on SSFS 9.2.1/9.2 into production. These combinations of application and database software have not been through IBM's Quality Assurance testing.

NOTE: SSFS 9.5 has been certified with DB2 10.5 and is fully supported. We strongly urge our clients to migrate to SSFS 9.5 to ensure complete support of any issues that may arise from the use of DB2 10.5. You refer the system requirements link for specific minimum patch levels needed.
