I want to create a report using 5 tabs in Cognos Analytics 11 and have them placed in the bottom left side. What is the method of doing this?
Answer
Steps on how to create this type of report and adjust the tab location:
1. In the Cognos home page, click ‘New’ followed by ‘Report’.
2. Under the list of templates, select the ‘5 tabs’ option and click ‘OK’.
3. On the left-hand side, click the ‘Queries’ tab before clicking ‘Report’.
4. Select the ‘Properties’ tab in the top right corner.
5. Under ‘REPORT’, look for the option ‘View pages as tabs’ and change it from ‘Top left’ to ‘Bottom left’.
6. When you run the report, you will see the tabs are all located in the bottom left side.
