Is Configuration Data Versioning (CDV) tool supported in text mode?

Troubleshooting

Problem

Is it possible to use Configuration Data Versioning GUI functionality in text mode?

Resolving The Problem

Configuration Data Versioning (CDV) tool GUI functionality is not supported in text mode. For example, it is not possible to detect conflicts using text mode. Conflicts are simply ignored and new values deployed to the target no matter the conflicts and no matter what has been set in ydkprefs.xml (refer to ValidateLockid, ValidateOldValues and ValidateRecordExistsBeforeDelete options).
Deploying the change made between labels is possible and does occur but running cdtshell script will always generate ydkexport.xml file (and additional XML files generated for the database changes) and not ydkversionexport.xml and its corresponding directory export_fromLabel_toLabel_timestamp which enables change tracking between 2 labels. Also, when running CDV in GUI mode, one is prompted to enter a label name for the deployment and this is saved in YFS_CONFIG_VERSION_LABEL table in target database which is also helpful for tracking the change. This is not the case when using cdtshell script. So cdtshell script unfortunately does not provide functionality which exists in CDV GUI. The mere deployment of the change is possible (CDT functionality), but tracking versions of configuration data, which is the CDV essence, is not possible when using CDV in text mode.
