Cannot create a service request

Troubleshooting


Problem

A service request cannot be saved after you have applied the security group template for service request.

Resolving The Problem

To create and save a service request, you must grant insert privileges for the MXAPISR object structure that is in the security group template for the service request.

  1. In the Security Groups application, open the security group for the service request.
  2. On the Object Structures tab, select the MXAPISR object structure.
  3. Select the Grant Access check box for the insert MXAPISR option.
  4. Save your changes
