Problem
A list of items to provide to IBM Support.
Resolving The Problem
Provide the following information:
1. Part number of the installer and filename of the tarball/zip file.
2. Full name/version of operating system
- uname -a
Take information from System Information.
3. Environment data
/bin/env | sort > env.txt
/usr/bin/locale > locale.txt
ulimit -a > ulimit.txt
df -h > df.txt
top -n 1 -b > top.txt
- Output of "set" command
- State amount of hard drive space available
4. Name/version of compression utility used
5. Username used to install Web GUI
6. Full command executed to install Web GUI
7. Outputs
- Console, errors
Provide errors displayed, if any.
- Versions
* Non-root install
/home/<username>/InstallationManager/eclipse/tools/imcl listInstalledPackages -features -long >> InstallManager_non_root_installed_software.txt
* root install
./imcl listInstalledPackages -features -long >> InstallManager_root_installed_software.txt
imcl.exe listInstalledPackages -features -long

- Install
./imcl exportInstallData outputFileName
where outputFileName is the zip file to be generated.
