Troubleshooting
Problem
After deploying Cognos contents from one server to another, when running reports, an error is returned.
Symptom
QE-DEF-0157 The Model or package /content/package[] does not exist or you are not allowed to use it because of security settings
Resolving The Problem
This may occur if the original import didn't have a datasource connection included. Re-import and specify the datasources and connections (not signons). Correctly change the connection to point to the appropriate reports database and manually create a signon.
Also there could be database issues which may contribute to this issue. After the successful connection to the database, the reports should be able to run.
