Crafts, Crews, Crew Types & Labor

Question & Answer

Question

How are these represented in Scheduler?

Answer

When using Graphical Scheduler and looking at a work order that has planned crews, crew types, labor and crafts on the crew types and crafts will be displayed.

1. Here we have an example of a work order with 4 task, each has one crew, crew type, labor and craft associated to them.

Based on the current design of the Scheduler application, only the craft and the crew types will show when looking at the scheduler record.

We would then schedule the work to be done as needed and then move the Graphical Assignment application to perform the assignments as needed.

When in graphical assignment and on the assignment view tab, we should see both the labor and crews. Since we have planned via craft, we will see all labor who has that craft listed against there labor record. Either as a default skill or secondary skill. We will also see all crews that fall under that crew type listed as well. We will not see information based on the crew or the labor entry.
