How do you applying pricing rules to a bundle item in IBM Sterling Order Management?
Cause
A bundle Item is added to order and the order has the qualifying Item for pricing rule, but the pricing rule is not getting applied on order.
Answer
In Case of bundle Items, the Bundle Pricing Strategy decides which pricing rules will be applicable for that bundle item(or Order having this bundle item). Bundle Pricing Strategy can have any of the three values configured at bundle parent level -
- Only include components:
Select this to calculate the cost of a bundle item based only on the bundle components. In this case only those pricing rules will be applicable which have components items as qualifying Items in pricing rule.
- Only include parent:
Select this to calculate the cost of a bundle item based only on the bundle parent item. In this case only those pricing rules will be applicable which have bundle parent item as qualifying Items in pricing rule.
- Include both parent and components:
Select this to calculate the cost of a bundle item based on both the bundle parent item and its components. In this case those pricing rules will be applicable which have either bundle parent item or component items as qualifying Items in pricing rule.
