Problem

Attempts to use the HarmonySE Toolkit "Generate Sequence Diagram" from IBM Rational Rhapsody helper results in error "Action has multiple outgoing pins - Cannot continue."

Cause

The HarmonySE Toolkit "Generate Sequence Diagram" helper processes activity diagrams as flowcharts. Therefore, only a single flow of activity is supported with this helper. For example, when an action possesses more than one outgoing pin, the helper is unable to determine which is the desired flow of activity and aborts. Note, that this limitation is not affected by the IBM Rational Rhapsody model checker completing successfully.



 
 

Resolving The Problem

An action should only have one outgoing pin.
